Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Ring Ring Please, a service operated by Lynn Solutions LLC ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Ring Ring Please is a doorbell-replacement notification tool for businesses. A visitor scans a QR code at a door, optionally enters a name or purpose, and triggers a text-message alert to a designated staff contact, who can reply. The visitor sees status updates on the page they scanned.

2. Not an emergency or security service

Ring Ring Please is a convenience notification tool. It is not a security, monitoring, alarm, or emergency service. Do not rely on it for emergencies or for the safety of people or property. Message delivery depends on mobile carriers and other factors outside our control and is not guaranteed to be timely or successful. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and use the service for business purposes within the United States. By using the service you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for the information you provide and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep your account secure. We verify account phone numbers using a one-time passcode.

5. Adding contacts and obtaining consent

When you add a staff contact, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to provide that person's mobile number and that they have agreed to receive visitor-alert text messages from the service at that number. You will not add a number you are not authorized to add. The service sends each new contact a one-time opt-in request, and sends visitor alerts only after the contact replies YES. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the service complies with applicable laws, including telephone, messaging, and privacy laws.

6. Text messaging terms

By opting in, a recipient consents to receive text messages from Ring Ring Please. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Recipients can reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. We are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, which depend on factors outside our control.

7. Acceptable use

• Do not use the service for any unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or abusive purpose.
• Do not use it to send messages to people who have not consented to receive them.
• Do not send marketing, promotional, or unrelated messages through the service.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.

8. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis. Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals. Fees already charged are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing on prospective notice.

9. Intellectual property

The service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Lynn Solutions LLC and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these Terms.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that messages will be delivered.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lynn Solutions LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from missed, delayed, or undelivered notifications. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lynn Solutions LLC from claims arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your breach of these Terms — including any claim that you added a contact's number without authorization or required consent.

13. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service or others.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be subject to the courts located in Oregon.
